Special transport missions have issues sometimes with pilot cars and ai. It is indeed annoying at times you have to reload a checkpoint or even restart because of that. Atm theres not much you can do about it, except open up console, and get rid of the traffic by typing.gtraffic 0. this get's rid of any ai, and then put it back to it's.
